Best Hiding Techniques

Most of the time a cache is hidden within a stone wall, behind a log, in the crouch of a tree, or buried under a pile of leaves.  Every now and then, a cache has you scratching your head, running around in circles.  When all else fails, think out-of-the-box.

GC2769 - Suspense - Jamestown, RI

The cache is inside this WWII bunker, suspended by a cord .

GC2E42 - Swiss Family Robinson - Needham, MA

The complement to Rhode Island's Suspense cache.

GC3008 - Boston Mini II - Boston, MA

Urban caches present a special challenge since they are easy trashed by others.  In FlyAA's virtual cache, the object is to find a coin glued to a magnet.  To get credit for the find, you emailed him the coin's date.  His other cache contained a coin glued inside a Boston Common newspaper box.

GC3A74 - Cold Feet - North Kingston, RI

This cache was hidden underneath the bridge, so you had to enter the water to retrieve it.  Unfortunately, it was trashed once fishing season started.

GC64D9 - Pokemon Cache - Wellesley, MA

Believe it or not, sometimes the cache is hidden in plain sight!
