It is bound to happen sometime, just not today. Almost gave up on this one, on account of outdated coordinates in my GPS.
Massive stone fireplaces greet you on the way to the cache.
This track shows the old and new coordinates. I
became convinced the cache was at the crest of the hill.
But once I found this empty cavity at the crest, I feared the cache was gone. Determined to get the three Newton TBs today, I circled the area in the opposite direction and there it was!
It was in the first rock pile I searched, but on the opposite side. Another lesson learned. I took Ned and the brown bear. Left a dinosaur and CacheCards.
